LSTC Group Coronavirus (COVID-19) updated Statement.

With the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the LSTC Group continues to work with key critical network providers.

We have put in place sensible measures to ensure the LSTC Group continue to be well-prepared and well-positioned to support our Clients and handle their work.

We continue to focus on two key aspects: the health and welfare of our staff, the public and our clients and our ability to continue to support clients.

Below are some of the specific actions that we continue to take.

Our robust approach to risk management and operational effectiveness is integral to our business and so we are prepared for unexpected and unusual events through a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan. Our BCP plan identifies the requirements that would be needed for each area of the business to function under a wide range of scenarios and it is kept under constant review. These scenarios include natural disasters, acts of terrorism, data breaches, power and transport failures and major sickness outbreaks such as pandemics. We test our BCP regularly and the processes have performed well.

Operational resilience  

• We have invested in technology which is helping to ensure that the business is both robust and adaptable, able to cope with significant and potentially disruptive events

• Staff are working from home successfully, and our ongoing investment in IT systems has given them the ability to remotely access our networks within a secure environment. We have also been able to redirect work phone lines to employee mobile phones, so they remain contactable

• Our staff continue to work incredibly hard and have adapted well to the everchanging situation

• We operate from six office locations across the UK and have a multi-site approach to our main functions and provision of services to clients. This gives us the flexibility to temporarily relocate activities or teams to other sites if necessary.

Employee and Client Safety

The health, safety and well-being of our staff, the public and our clients are of paramount importance to us. We continue to closely monitor and implement official guidelines from the Government and health organisations in respect of coronavirus. Specific actions undertaken continue to include:

• The majority of staff are working from home

• Hand washing and hand sanitizer facilities are widely available throughout our offices.

• All staff continue to follow relevant self-isolation protocols, should they or any members of their households develop symptoms.

• Our staff only travel for business when essential.

• We continue to facilitate both client and internal meetings by Skype, telephone and other means.

• We have canceled all internal large meetings and events.

Field operations are being undertaken on a reduced basis and our experienced site workers are conducting, daily, point-of-work risk assessments for key field activities.

The LSTC Group will continue to monitor, assess and respond according to the most up-to-date Government advice in the UK and ROI and engage proactively with key stakeholders as and when required.

The coronavirus outbreak is clearly a constantly evolving situation, but we want to reassure you that we are taking sensible precautions to minimise the potential impact of coronavirus on our clients and our staff and operations while ensuring it is business as usual. LSTC is open for business as usual, albeit with a reduced presence at head and regional offices.
